Companion Angle ruler question

Does anyone know what the degree of the triangle is on the Darlene Zimmerman Companion Angle ruler? I got a great book from our library, but uses the Companion and the Easy angle rulers. I have the easy angle.... but not the companion... any help appreciated.

I am not sure but know you can use it for the middle of the flying geese and QST. The easy angle does HST, and the side triangle for flying geese

The companion is for cutting quarter square triangles. You could do without it easily & just cut them from squares.

I have both, the companion and 6.5 easy angle. They both are 45 degrees. The companion angle is 8 inches.

Is the companion ruler the same as the strip tube ruler? So many special rulers!!!

I just finished a mantle scarf & the pattern called for the companion which I didn't have. I used the easy angle & it worked just fine. I think it is shorter than the companion but if you lay a longer ruler on top of the easy angle you can make it whatever height you require.

It is like the others have said, if it is a 45 degree angle, that any ruler with that angle will work.

thank you so much ladies... this helps a lot.
I hate to buy all those rulers... my quilting budget is saved for fabric.
