I am so frustrated, my machine is driving me crazy. First of all I have a bent plate, (replaced that), changed weight of thread, finally everything is working and now, the machine is slowing down speeding up.......it's like the stitch regulator isn't working now. I am so frustrated!

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Nothing can be more aggrevating when you want to sew and the sewing machine doesn't work, been there. Had a deadline and my machine broke a gear and had a hard time finding a new one I could afford. Hope things go better soon.

do you have a clutch in your pedal? that could cause that?
check and make sure everything is plugged in good and tight! |
I understand, my machine was giving me problems today too ! I had to get up and walk away for awhile

It also could be thread caught in the uptake threading thing. I had that problem with my viking and thought is was gone. Had it fix and works real good now.

I think it's time for chocolate!!!

Carrie, what kind of machine is it? Domestic or LA? If it's a LA you could have a bad sensor.

I was going to say to check if everything is plugged in also.

I have had that same problem I use a juki and have found first check all connections second unthread everything . CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN,not just your machine but your rails and wheels on teh stitch regulator that sit on the rails. Eat a good share of chocolate.,sit a spell and then when you have settled down go back look at your setup and make sure you have everything nice and clean then start to rethread top and bottom do a little practice spot .Lots of times I find the wheels sometimes build up some gunk and so do the rails.Hope this helps and hope things work out for you .
