Computer Downgrade?

I am looking to buy a used longarm machine and I found an Innova close by my area, but it is equipped with the autopilot computer system. This would be great only I can't afford it right now! I am wondering if it would be possible to sell the computer system. And if I could do that, how much could I get for it? They sell for $14,595 retail. The machine is only 3 years old. This is probably a really strange question since most people are looking to upgrade to a computer system - not downgrade! :)

My advice would be never to buy something you can't afford based on the hope you could sell a component of the item. What if it doesn't sell?

Yeah, maybe I just need to be more patient in my search. Thanks!

My suggestion would be to contact several LAM companies to see what they have in the way of used machines. I know that at least one of them is very consumer friendly and will put you with the right machine. They also warranty used machines because they take care of them and in turn take care of you.
peace
