I haven't had any problems.

I got the same message last week, took me 4 -ever to get connected to this board. Maybe it's not actually the board, but a 3rd party ?

I had a problem a few weeks ago. It happened when I went into tutorial site. If I had stayed on the board I would have been ok. Don't know the computer jargin for what happened.

I had that problem once before. It finally cleared up after about a week.

I didn't take the time to read through all 7 pages of responses, but just as a word of advice, NEVER run more than one virus protection program. NEVER. All kinds of problems with that. It will bring your computer to a crawl and cause major conflicts.

Well. it may look like it is from here, but it isn't likely!
National Public Radio had a program about a "worm =bad program" that comes in from some outside hackers, and
insinuates itself into your computer's hard drive. Thousands and thousands of computers are linked together by hackers in wierd contests among themselves to see who can get the most. If you have windows, Microsoft will help and advise you - go to help and support from them, and it is free - they have a whole building full of savvy engineers and people ready to help.
By the way, the following day after the program was broadcast, NPR lost some broadcast time during the day..I suspect the hackers tried to retalliate...but NPR defended itself - and got back on the air. Right after that, things got better on my computer and I was able to block two hackers out of mine -finally! JP

That sounds like it! The "worm" !!!! I think mine came in with an online game, though it could be any link.
