Oh, there are many more stories yet to come. Early on, I wrote almost daily from my memories. Now, I add to the stories with the trials and tribulations of my current quilting experience. Stay tuned.

What a beautiful story! You were so lucky and blessed to come up in a time like that. I remember my granny and her old wood burning stove and biscuits as big as cats heads always in the warming oven.....miss those days.

That is a great story. Brings back alot of memories. But I thought how many wondered why you would have to wait for the stove to be hot to iron? I remember Grandma using an iron off the stove and saving the wax paper from the bread sacks to slick up the iron. I am getting old. Thanks for the memories.
