I just got the new Connecting Threads catalog and they have a promo code - CT596 - that will take $5.96 (the cost of one yard of fabric) off your total order. It expires on 2/2. There is also free shipping on web orders over $50 and we all know how easy it is to spend $50.

Thanks for sharing the tip.

Can I please ask a silly question? I've been ordering from Connecting Threads for a few years and I had never heard of a promo code until I started following threads on this site. I even went back and checked a few past issues; nothing. I receive their catalog several times a year and order frequently (restocked during their recent 30% off thread set sale!!). Do they only offer promos in certain parts of the country? Do they randomly insert them in people's orders?

Don't the promo codes come in their newsletters?

They have a newsletter? I only receive catalogs --- but tend to order online (I have a nasty habit of shopping online during my lunch hour at work :-D )

I have only found their codes in quilting books or on a thread here.

I have never heard about the promo code either. I rec'd the newsletter on the 7th, so took another look & didn't see "promo code", but did see a "source code". What does that mean? Thanks, Wanda
