I've found that the batting used makes a big difference in the amount of lint in the bobbin area, too.

It's great for piercing and quilting. Although it's somewhat linty, for the price, I can clean out the lint a little more.

I too use it - a little more linty than others but my LA loves it and produces nice stitches with it.

I use the poly cones for machine quilting and to wind bobbins. I mix it with Aurifil and many of the other brands of cotton thread. I give the spool sets as gifts. There is a great buy on a boxed gift set on the website now in the gift section of the website. I had to order the red mug too!

I think this is a Superior Threads thread, not a Connecting Threads thread. I'm trying to see how many times I can use thread in a sentence :p

I prefer thinner thread for piecing and for SITD quilting, but for quilting or topstitching that I want to show up I love CT thread. Yes, it's lintier than premium thread like Aurifil or Presencia; but it's good sturdy thread and the price is sooo low and color selections are great. I waited for a sale and (literally) bought at least one spool of every single color!

Buy a spool, try it out! I'm betting you'll like it. And while you're shopping there, get yourself a pair of their little purple-handled snips. I LOVE those little scissors and buy a pair pretty much with every order because I keep finding new places I want to keep a pair.

I've actually seen a quilt shop selling spools of Connecting Threads cotton thread, it was marked up to $8/spool. No idea if it was selling or not, but I had to laugh at that. I'm not sure it's worth $8/spool, but it's DEFINITELY worth the $2-3 on the site.

Its all I use Love it!!!

I like it a lot and have not noticed it being any more linty than anything else, but not really paying that much attention. I just clean out my machine after each quilt anyway. I love all their colors and especially the price.

My machine and I love CT thread. I use the neutral colors for piecing and the colors for quilting.

I have only used their batiks and love them. Good quality. The only bad thing is not a big selection!!!

Can anyone give feedback on the thread from Connecting Threads? The price for regular cotton thread seems too good to be true. 1200 yards for 2.79?? Thanks!
