ljptexas - thank you for the chart link. I have printed it out to post in my quilting room.

dunster - thank you for the thoughts on remaking the block. I have also made note of them.

I agree with everyone - this Board rocks!

The attached 2 blocks are currently 12 inches finished. Is there a way to resize to a 20" finished block ? Thank you in advance.

I just printed off an article from Martingale's website on how to resize blocks. Hope this helps.

Great chart that I use quite a lot. Have it posted next to my desk. But alas this printer I now have does not enlarge/decrease! Boy, next time will I ever check for this!!!! My last one did & l love it.... HP

Thanks for the chart. My printer doesn't allow for resizing either but I can head out to Staples and use their copier. It'd be worth the cost not to have to hassle with the math...which I am oh-so NOT good at!

I confess I didn't read every post so I apologize if this has been mentioned: there is an App available for Apple products and Androids called the quilting Block Tool. It's $3.99. It has 100 blocks completely broken down with cutting instructions sizing the blocks for example the Ohio Star from 3" block up to a 15" block. It is easy to figure an 1&" or 21" based on the other measurements. For those who focus on block construction it is a good $4 investment.
