Cordless Rechargeable Steam Irons

Just wondering what your opinions are on the cordless steam irons as I am considering purchasing one of these. Thought I would come to this board to see what your thoughts and experiences with these irons are and what kind you would recommend. Thank you so very much for your time and help.

The panasonic cordless steam iron is fantastic. So much steam without spitting or leaking.

I like the kind that are cordless or corded. I have a Norelco, Drip Stop that is still going strong after several years.

Love mine for quilting. It would be a LNG long journey on a family wash.

I believe that my friend has a Panasonic cordless iron and she absolutely adores it.

i have one and love it for short ironing projects. but for ironing yardage, it does not stay hot enough long enough. and for short projects, i find it just as easy to turn it on and off myself. however, if you are the type of person that may not remember to turn your iron off, the cordless would be ideal.
