I have a question on the swap/swap-ees... when working on the quilts, do many of you correspond back and forth and is that the norm? I am new to being in the swaps and really not knowing anyone, so to speak, I had not communicated with whoever I was partnered with. I don't want anyone to get the impression that I am a loner or snobbish .. I just am not familiar as to what each does when in a swap. Thanks for any input.

I think different people do different things. I usually exchange 2-3 emails with my swap partner but it just depends. If I have an idea of what they like or their interests, I usually take it from there. But if I can't find out anything about them from their posts, then I'll send more emails....does this help?? :D

Is the above a panel or a picture?? I love it!! :D

Some chat back and forth in the swap thread, a little, a lot, it is up to you how much you want to participate. :D:D:D

Thanks amma, I just was not sure, it appeared that some do and I wondered if that was the thing to do :) I think its a grand idea to get to know another. Thanks again.

And the more time you spend on the board and more comfortable you get here , the more you will chat, PM and send messages to other board members

I was afraid to pm at first but now I have a few quilters that I chat with now and I love it.
