I am making a log cabin flannel quilt,,is there any reason why I cannot slip a piece of cotton in there occasionally? It is a camp/wildlife kind of log cabin,,,and found some really good cotton pieces in my stash. Thanks for any help you can give me.

If you like it go for it. No rules. You might do a sample block and wash it and see how it looks after washing. Just a thought.

If you prewashed your flannel and cotton, it would be fine. If you didn't prewash your flannel, it will shrink more than the cotton.

If you quilt heavily, it shouldn't be a problem :D:D:D
