Cotton Lame'
 

does anyone know where i can find cotton lame' again? years ago I got some at Joann's. gold with a red thread look to it. Great in Christmas quilts. I need more but keep finding metallic and such.

The only thing I can think of is michael millers fairy frost fabric I think it was called.

has anyone ever used this fabric? I thought it might be "the one".
I went ahead and ordered some. I am sure i will use it even if not as planned. I like gold.

I did a Google search and found websites including Fabric.com, Esty, Shabby Fabrics and Fat Quarter Shop that have metallic fabrics.

here is a photo of what i have. it is soft and doesn't ravel when cut. a bit shinier here in photo due to flash.
