Has anyone used Betty Cotton's Cotton Theory. We saw it demo'd at the Dallas quilt show today. It is a little confusing to me. Just wondered if anyone else had conquered this new qayg

It's much easier than it looks, it only took me a couple of tries and had it down pat. I love doing Cotton Theory.

It is similar to fun and done but leaves a little flap on one side and also is reversible. Google a search and you will find her website.

as you can see, karen does beautiful work.

edit: she did this on a regular-size sewing machine.

Wow...Karen's quilt is beautiful. I have only done table runners and didn't like the stiffness once finished. However, it is a very fun technique and gives a very durable finished project. I've washed the tablerunners many, many times and they still look brand new. I couldn't imagine the weight of a quilt done that way(LOL).

I have done it...bought the book and DVD's...which make it easy...I suggest you buy both this way you can see it done and book is helpful because it has projects to do
