I've made stockings for my family over the years too. I got to add one this year because my first grandchild joined our family last February.

WOW, what beautiful work! Well worth the wait.

Oh my, this stocking is fantastic! Counted cross stitch is my other passion, and I was crushed when my daughter had someone else knit her children's Christmas stockings. I am so happy that you were able to make this beautiful one for your DGD.

Just wonderful! Actually it made me think of Wendy and John looking out the window at Peter Pan - ooops! wrong story. The dark blue background is fabulous and your stitching - there aren't words to describe. One lucky little Claire - to remember for many years your thoughtful and patient hours of love.

This is one I made a couple of years ago (Sariah is now 6). I'll have to find the rest of the photos. I have several kits bought, because I've found it difficult to find the perfect design, so I buy them when I find one.

Very nice! I do counted cross stitch also, but you see progress in quilting than in counted cross stitching.

This is simply gorgeous. What a treasured heirloom you have created. Thank you for sharing.
