Country Church

I hope my picture downloaded. It's the first time I have tried downloading a picture since the site has changed. This is a wall quilt I am working on for my daughter-in-law. It's about 17 inches square. I am quilting it by hand. I am not sure what would be good to go around it so any suggestions would be appreciated. Would it be better to keep it simple or should I do some type of pattern around it like blocks, flying geese or something of that sort?

Love it great job!! O would border it with another row of blocks of your choice! To make it a little bigger!

Depends how large you want to go. I had a church block that I ended up adding and adding to and ended up with a full size quilt. Here's a link to the thread where I posted it. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...d-t130020.html

I would just add a border or 2 to bring out the brown (on my monitor) and add no other distinct design. JMHO

That block was the BOM for January 2011. You can check out this link for lots of ideas on how to finish the block.
