your daughters color choices just ''scream'' LOG CABIN!!! her color choices on the dark side with creams on the light side. there are a lot of really great layout choices....maybe let her choose the one she likes best!!

Log cabin or yellow brick road would be my choices.

Thimbleberries would be my choice in browns, greens, beige etc.
