Nothing fancy, just quilting therapy.

Very nice, love the denim pockets on the second one. Your quilting on the first one is beautiful.

MDQuilter 08-22-2013 04:56 PM

These are really cute! I love the pockets too. They both look very snuggly.

Great comfy quilts!

Mdaniels 08-22-2013 05:01 PM

Thank you so much. The second one has all but a little bit of an old pair of jeans stitched into it. First one was for one of my grandsons, with "I love grandma" flannel on the back.

I think they're beautiful. Your color combinations are just perfect.

Your quilts look really nice - like the jeans sewn into the second one. Nice touch.

I love both your quilts!

Quiltngolfer 08-23-2013 06:07 AM

Both are very cute. I love the idea of pockets on the quilt too. Great idea for kids or nursing homes. My Mom is in a nursing home and she would like a pocket to keep a tissue in or to just fiddle with.

Beautiful work!!!

Both of your quilts are lovely. Do you remember the fabric line in the first quilt? It looks like something I "need".

This quilt is a bit of a mish mosh of fabrics. I purchased the panel, maybe from MSQC. The charm squares are Riley Blake, and most of the rest of the fabric is from several bargain bolts or bins in local LQS's or Joann's-- but I am sorry, I don't remember what specific print patterns they are. I tend to find things in pieces and eventually a quilt starts making itself.

thanks for the encouragement, I have only done a handful of quilts in the past year and they are addictive!

I love them both! Great work!

Very nice job. I love the first one.

These are great quilts. The pockets are really amusing.

These are both great quilts! The first one appeals to me because of the color and design, but the pockets one the 2nd one really rock! Great finishes!

jeanneb52 08-24-2013 04:03 AM

They are wonderful!!!! So bright and happy

How cute! I won't dare show my husband the one with jeans pockets, he wants me to make him a jeans quilt and that is the last thing I want to do!

Mariposa 08-24-2013 05:36 AM
