Craftmaster 4400, anyone know anything about it?

Does anyone know anything about a Craftmaster 4400 sewing machine? Is it made by Janome? and if so, what is the comparable Janome model? It looks like a pretty simple machine, but I think would be good for piecing.

I have had several Janome sewing machines and like them a lot. https://www.sewingmachinesplus.com/s...ome-mc4400.php shows this to be a discontinued Janome. Hope this helps!

Thanks Sheri.a, but that's a Janome Memory Craft, not a Craftmaster. The one I'm talking about doesn't say Janome on it anywhere. On the front it says Craftmaster 4400, and there's a plate on it that says "Manufactured for and distributed by Texas Sew Wares Inc." It's a mechanical machine. I've done some sleuthing and have read that a Craftmaster 4300 is the same as the Janome HD1000, but I've got the 4400. I'd love confirmation that the Craftmaster 4400 is indeed a Janome and wonder what its Janome twin might be.

Why not just buy a Janome that you can get parts and service for? Sometimes buying a machine that is out of production, not a brand name, and wasn't in large production to start with will just end up giving you a large paperweight when you find you can't get even simple parts for it.

Thanks, donna13350. That's true. It's just that I've come into possession of this Craftsmaster and I'm trying to determine exactly what it is. If it is indeed just a Janome by another name, I know I can get parts. Which is why I'm trying to figure this out.
