Crayola Washable Glue....

I bought this instead of Elmers by mistake......I'm planning to use it to baste my binding with. Do you think it will work the same or do you think I should not take the chance?

Glue is cheap, I wouldn't risk it. Save the Crayola for something else.

Try it on a pot holder and then give it a wash.

I would try it on some scraps. I would think if it says washable it would be. Give it a try

I use whatever washable glue I can find. It's all the same.

Crayola washable glue has almost all 5-star ratings on Amazon, plus their washable crayons wash right out. I think it's safe to use.

Well, it depends on what their definition of "is" is. :D

Some manufacturers say "washable" as in it will wash OUT with soap and water.

Other manufacturers say "washable" as in it's permanent and will NOT wash out.

I'd check the label to clarify which "washable" this glue is.

I bought a bottle of Elmer's Glue unwashable by mistake once so I keep it away from my washable stuff and use it on items I want to stay glued. You might test it on a couple pieces of scraps and then wash it to see if it comes out.
