A while ago I completed a crazy quilt top......it is in "4th of July" fabrics. I would like to make it into a table cloth. Would I just put on a backing and "tack" it in place. Any suggestions would be helpful

You can use batting or not, your choice
You can tie it, SID, or use any other method to hold the two layers together. Since only the front is going to show on the table, and you have to work around the crazy patches, I would let the top tell you how to do this :D:D:D |
If you used other than washable fabrics, I would be hesitatnt to use it as a table cloth, which will need lots of washing.
If you used all cottons, then I would put batting and a backing on it, and you should tack it. Please show us your crazy quilt top - we love pictures! |
Thanks!!!!!
I would love show you all a picture....unfortunately I am not computer savy with pictures. |
Welcome to the board. Good luck with your table cloth.
