Beautiful quilt!! My heart goes out to you. I had a problem with my machine, Miss Rose had to go to the shop about 3 weeks ago but thankfully I had a back-up. Hope you get it going soon.

Thank you all so much for your condolences, sympathy and good wishes. I rang the mechanic this morning and he fixed it by 'phone. How's that for service!!! Told me to turn the flywheel backwards HARD, I was really reluctant to do any hard pushing and shoving at all, but it worked. We have lift-off again.

Thank you also for all the lovely comments about my butterflies - I have to admit that I lifted both the quilt and the applique from other peoples' designs, mixed 'em up a bit to suit daughter's tastes, and am really pleased with the result. Still have a lot of practising to do with the FMQ tho'.

I'm so sorry that happened. What a disappointment ,shock, frustration, and inconvenience...while you were so enjoying yourself, too. It'll all work out, and the quilt will be amazing. Your butterflies add a cool touch.
