I love their cotton thread, haven't tried the polyester , I just have a preference for the feel of cotton. I use it for piecing & quilting on my Babylock Tiara, no problems, just need to brush out lint whenever I change bobbins, takes 2 seconds.

My Bernina is picky with thread but it loves the CT cotton thread. No problems at all, linty yes, but good thread.

I use CT polyester. It works fine for me, and the price is right. The price is important because I do many charity quilts and thread can become expensive after a while. I use it on all the quilts I make, not just the charity quilts, though.

Where do I find Red Rock Threads? I've not heard of them before. Thanks for responding.

Red Rock is not a brand name, it's an online store. Often has good deals:

Hi,
I am new on this site, and saw a recent message about getting thread from Connecting Threads. I checked them out, and now have a dilemma regarding thread. Do you use cotton or polyester? I have always used Gutermann 100% cotton thread that I've picked up at Joann's. I would love to hear your thoughts about CT, and cotton vs. polyester. Thank you!

I Aurifil 50/2 for my personal sewing projects. I use whatever I have available for other projects. Often the groups I sew with have thread available. I do love Cone Threads as I don't have to change them out as often.

WHY don't they make bobbins that run on cone threads?? Just a wish... LOL
