Aurofil is great stuff but it's also the most expensive thread I've ever bought. If you can afford it, good for you. Until I win the lottery I'll stick with CT and Isacord.

i use connecting threads - thread all the time-with good results.

I've been a bit disappointed with ct thread, it's so linty. I am forever cleaning off the needle and bobbin case. Otherwise, it is smooth,ect. I'm going to try Isacord next.

I find it to be very linty...and my Elna does not like it at all. I can use Signature threads though! Go figure.
I prefer Aurifil and YLI or Gutterman silk finish |
