I've got blinds and an older Snoopy shower curtain. The blinds are pulled up and the curtain is tied in half because when I reorganized the room, the kitty condo is now in front of the window. If I didn't pull the things up, my crazy critters would pull them down.

Old age I guess!

Nah, it's not old age; it's the new light bulbs...they just don't make anything like they used to. LOL

I have blinds - makes it easy to adjust the sun coming in during the afternoon time. I have floor length curtains that hang on the side of the windows (tab tops with buttons) for color. I bought the curtains at Bed and Bath. I would rather quilt than make curtains. lol Someone on the board mentioned once that asking a quilter to mend is like asking Van Gogh to paint the house - not quite the quote but you get the idea.

If you like making curtains by all means make them. If not, buy them... you can get them for all prices, colors, etc. at many different places.

But most important - have fun!

Wood blinds. No muss, no fuss, easy to clean and I can spend my sewing time sewing something I really want to sew.

I plan to put blue check curtains in my new room.
