It was laser cut, so I knew that had to be okay. Just used a lot of pins to put the sections together and it took forever!! So I was reading on this Board about the Quilt Master presser foot and thought I'd try it. WOW!! I watched the YouTube videos and after one practice piece, I was off and getting the pieces together very easily!! I finished 23 sections in one hour (a section being the middle "football"and one pieced section. YAY! Before, I was lucky to get 5 done in an two hour stretch!! My frustration level is down and I;m on my way...finally! I have no financial interest in this company, but am so glad to have found their product!!

I went to the site but cannot seem to find the foot!! HELP!!

Does anyone using this gadget use it on a Viking Sapphire machine or know if it will work on the Viking?

I want to know this also.

I've seen them, tried it out and found I had issues. Not sure it was the same product, but mine came with a tweezer with very pointed ends and the tweezer is one of my favorite quilting notions, I use it all the time. It pulls out stitches, grabs the ends of last pieces of material going thru the machine without getting in the way, helps me find the sequins and beads and I need that are so small my big clumsy fingers can't pick up, etc.

Ellie from Back Porch Designs has a tutorial on how to sew curved seams without this foot or pins. It's basically the same technique the person demo-ing the foot uses. Here's the Ellie video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=LlwVGoL4zV0

I just ordered one from there, too. Amazon and Wal-Mart get most of my money! ;-)

My next project...or the one after that  .....is a Winding Ways quilt (I think that's the name) and this foot should help, right?

Your quilt is beautiful! (I didn't see your post before I wrote my own). This is what I want to make....sometime in the future. Glad to know the Curvemaster foot helps. I love this pattern and your version of it is simply gorgeous.

I purchased mine from the 'inventor' when she came to a quilt show in Oz. There are tweezers and a wooden roller that goes with it, which make work even faster.

It comes in a box with feet that fit low and high shank machines. There are about five different styles to chose from and therefore is an added bonus if you have more than one machine.

LOL! Love how you put that Poly!

And I love your Eleanor Roosevelt quote Coopah!

Y'all are making me want to buy a CurveMaster after all!

I love mine for not only curves but 1/4 inch seams. This prevents me from having to switch feet all the time.
