On Quilty.com site with Mary Fons, Mary made a curved log cabin quilt. It really looked nice and I would love to make one. Has anyone here on the board ever made one and was it easy?

If you go to the Gallery, under Pictures, I think there are several. They are all quite lovely.

Have you ever made a log cabin before?
It's really quite easy to make it curved.....the logs on two adjoining sides are narrower than the logs on the other two adjoining side.
If you cut one set of logs at 2" wide, cut the other set at 1&1/2" or even 1&1/4"wide.
How you turn the blocks makes the design.

Thanks. Yes, I am in the middle of quilting a queen size log cabin right now. It just looked a little weird to me with one side narrower than the other. I'll have to try one. It really looks nice.
