Well, I think I am getting old. I had to go to Google and educate myself as to what CR code was. (An interesting possibility for a modern looking quilt) Then I read Jan's reply and now I have to figure out what CLister is. Will this madness never end? Well Ann don't feel like the 'Lone Stranger' in this every changing techno world. I 'got' Clister....oh I'm so savvy....BUT even Googling CR code I'm still confused....the Craigs list states longer phrases will require more fabric????? Where is the phrase??? Can someone explain CR code? Oh....savvy is gone and feelings of really old creeping in :0)

Go to this site: http://qrcode.kaywa.com/ this site allows you to create your own Quick Response icon. On the right side click the "test' button and below type in something like your name or a short phrase and click the "generate" button and a QR icon will appear. Very clever. You can actually then add it to your emails or web site or blog. Example, in your emails under your signature you could have one of these QR icons with your blog address.

You take a picture of it with your smart phone. The software on the smart phone will open up a browser window and show you the information associated with that QR code, be it a website, address and phone number, email, just about anything. This is how I label all my quilts. If one of my quilts gets lost, I have my website address and contact info embedded into the code, which is then printed on the label.
