Cute monkey pattern???
Does anyone have a source for a sweet faced monkey quilt? My DDIL is due to present us with a grandchild in July and she wants to use a monkey theme...
I don't want sock monkey...just something cute. Any help will be appreaciated...I'm not online as much as before, but will check in again tomorrow...thanks |
Hancock Fabrics has some very sweet monkey flannel fabric.....as does JoAnns.....and even Walmart!! Do a simple checkerboard pattern with the monkey fabric and a solid color for a quick easy baby quilt!!! If you don't know the babys sex, you can do the solid in minty greens or yellows that will look great for a baby. Good luck!

Look at Hancocks, Hobby Lobby or Walmart for the Jungle Babies line. They are cute. I have used them in cotton and flannel.

I had bought some fabric from Joanne's with monkey faces on it. I used the mint green and it matched some of the other blankets she received. It was really cute and well liked. Have fun. Sue

I already have some of the cute flannels with monkeys and have made her a simple patchwork quilt with them...sorry, no pictures...she already has the quilt. I like that applique one...I think I could go from there...She has picked a cute set from a baby store, but she doesn't think it is worth what they are charging...(smart girl) and she says that it was made in China. She was hinting... |
