cutting binding help
A friend told me about a way he was shown to fold and cut binding without sewing pieces together from a yard of fabric. She just folded it and cut it. Anyone know how this was done???
Now he cuts a 1-1/2" strip in a circle to the center, single layer, it takes time. Thanks. |
that would be bias binding. you might search that for videos on it.

i just did that at a freinds house on Monday. I now you can find it on you tube. I was totally confused, but it turned out great. good luck.

It is called 'Continues Bias Binding'. You can find several videos on it.
I tried it once, and was a total disaster for me. But don't let my experience deter you. |
It is called continuous bias binding. I did it once and it worked well but it was not the easiest method.

I prefer the way I cut and make binding. It works very well for me.

He said there was no sewing at all, it was just the way it was folded. No strips to sew together. I can't see how it was done.
thanks anyway. |
Quiltedsunshine, thank you for such a well-written resource! Now I'm off to explore your website.
