Will a sizzix die work in an accuquilt cutter?

From what I have read on this site, the answer is No. However I have also read the accuquilt dies will work in the sizzix.

No. You will damage your cutter. The Sizzix dies are thicker. On the other hand, an accuquilt die will work in a cutter that accepts sizzix dies, but you have to use a shim.
