Got them and they are wonderful to measure with, with fewer line but BE CAREFUL. Check immediately. The larger 24" one is right on, but the 4 1/2" if off by about 1/32". Only on the side with the diamond edge so I think it was an assembly error. Just happened to notice it as I was trimming a SA. I'll return it but just wanted to FYI you all.

I will check mine I was not so sure about the sharpening part seems I need to be more careful!

Have you had them long enough/used them enough to notice if they are keeping your blades sharp?

Not yet Amma. Doing some small Freezer paper piecing now so I'm just trimming a single layer at a time. Back to doing one of my GDs quilts tomorrow so will have a better idea. And I am cutting with a fairly dull blade! (see my post re: Harbor Frt from today!) Will let you know!

Can these be bought locally???

I don't know; probably at a Joann's or likewise. I got these through Fabric Dept on-line at a great price! And I'm lucky to have one of their stores 1/2 hr. away. They are good to order from.
