Cutting FQ's
 
Whats the best way to cut Fat Quarters to get the most 5 inch squares from them ??

You can't get more than TWELVE 5" squares from a ~22"x18" square.

Unless you piece the rest....but I don't think that's what you want to do.

Here's a visual of a FQ showing the cuts for 5" squares (the black is the excess).

Weird, the pic looks perfectly to scale in EQ but it looks a bit off here.
But you get the idea.

Now if they just happen to be Canadian FQs ... and perfectly cut ... you could get 16!! :)
