Martelli makes one I believe. www.martellicatalog.com should be the link. They have some wonderful items.

I am in the process of getting a new/bigger quilting room and my DH and I will make making this table for cutting.

It does not adjust, but if I need one that does (I haven't yet in all the years I have been quilting) I will use a 30 x 60 table that my DH purchased at Lowes, to which I will add the extenders that one puts on the bed legs to raise it up.

I also have the Horn 5180 and the Horn 3140, which I have placed back to back. This gives me lots of room if I am working on a large quilt.

That is pure awesome. There's no Ikea here but my original plan was to try to build my table. I may have to look up Ikea knock-off plans for the expedit and do it like this one. I love the shelf on the side too. I have a couple of those in my bathroom (from when I was in Calif and was able to go to an Ikea) and that is such a great idea.

For about $500 I had a contractor build a kitchen counter height cutting table with a ton of storage. The drawers are pull-outs. It essentially two narrower cabinets, securely bolted together and on rollers. The large top is covered in Formica and is continuous sitting on top. The top can be removed so the two can be separated. By the way, that is the only way to get it through the doorway! Several years ago, from Bed Bath & Beyond, I had purchased wicker baskets that he used as dimensions for width & depth of pull-out drawers. The unit hold 12 baskets! Oh, our home is a recent build so we had him match & stain the wood to match the woodwork in the house.

Sounds complicated? I will see if I still have the picture so you can see.
Happy building!

Oh good point. I hadn't even thought of that. I'll have to be sure to make mine so it comes apart or at least not as big as the doorway. The doorway to my sewing room will be 42" so I'll keep it in mind.

I found it!!! Remember, it is deep enough to hold 2 drawers per sliding drawer.

I have a different cutting table from Ikea... however no casters. You can get tables with casters through Ikea though. Yes, I do love Ikea...

Since space is kind of a commodity in my craft room I have a big ironing board on casters instead of my cutting table. That has been really helpful. I can move it wherever I want it to be.
