I've noticed that seems to be happening a lot recently.

I haven't had any problem posting photos from my computer. Wonder if it caused from posting from tablets?? It would be interesting to know. Looked at the help center but I couldn't find any answers posted.

Is there a pattern for this table??

It would make it a bit more complicated to construct but if the legs folded when not in use it would make transporting and storing so much easier. Maybe use a hinge assembly of some sort. Like the idea of having something you could put on the table to bring it to cutting height.

If you look at the pic that shows the underside, you can see that it is hinged. That horizontal bar swivels 90 degrees so the legs fold down for transport, and swivels back to hold the legs in place when in use.

Paper Princes you got it ....folds for transport and storage. This will sit on a table to raise the table for cutting. A lot of people find an ordinary table too low for cutting and it plays havoc with the back.

Originally I posted these pictures from my computer not a tablet....so don't know why the double post.

There is not a pattern per se, but I am sure that someone that is handy with wood could easily make this. The top can be any size, but here it accomodates the 16 x 20 cutting mat. with this sitting on the table you can also store things under it. There is a piano hinge for the legs. The bar in the middle was added later, because of problems with the legs collapsing. Works great now.

I have a work shop table that with the wheels I put on it, makes it the right height that I do not have to bend over at all to cut. Bought a large cutting mate that covers the complete table top. works wonders for achy back and shoulders.

LITTLEOLDME that sounds great!! This is more portable to take to retreats, guilds etc. Although it could be used anywhere.

It is a great table. I bought one several years ago after seeing it at an Empty Spools seminar class - another person in class had one. Not sure where I put when we moved :).

I have one I bought at a quilt retreat a couple of years ago. I love it when going to a class or workshop. I have a bad back and it puts the cutting board at the right height so I don't have to bend. Plus you can stash your strips or squares underneath as you cut!
