Daily specials and newsletters. How many do you have?

So I start my day reading my email but before I do that I check my on-line favorites for their daily deals. What do they have. Do I need it. OMG but look at the price. https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/eek.png And then it's the newsletters. Julie, look what we have JUST FOR YOU! https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images...es/biggrin.png

So how many online shops do you frequent? I have 4 that I check daily but don't always give them my money in hopes of getting something I really really need. How many newsletters fill your in box? I'm starting to delete many of them for various reasons.

So what's in your in box? Inquiring quilters waiting for your response...lol

Ha....I usually just delete all of them....but I have a huge stash of just about everything. fabric, cutting equipment, thread, patterns, books, needles, new blades, cutting matts, rulers, storage bags, If one would advertise an assistant....I would grab it up. tee hee.

Quilting related? I have 4.

Blogs, only 4. They always have ads in them.

Advertisers, at least 10 that I buy from when I can't resist them anymore. Another 10 that I keep on because they have interesting newsletters that keep me up to date with the quilting world. I have avoided the FabShopHop because that is how I end up with a bloated in box.

I watch two for daily deals, Missouri Star and Quilt in a Day. I like Superior Threads newsletter. I have narrowed my quilt supply buying online to mostly those stores. The customer service is great and shipping is reasonable.

I probably have a dozen that come in my email daily some times more than once a day. The majority are deleted without a second glance. Much depends on my mood in the morning. I chose 2 this morning. I didn't spend a dime today. I hope that makes up for what I spent over the weekend a few days ago.

my most recent addiction is machine emboridery designs and get a couple of emails about sales and I'm always finding another pretty design that would look neat in a quilt. I also get one that sells designs for my LA, but that only comes once a month. I use to check out MSQC daily deals, but if I wanted one I'd always be tempted to buy enough for free shipping and decided that was getting out of hand so stopped looking.

Many. For the most part, I can tell from the title of the email if I need to open it. The one I always look at is Hawthorne Supply, because it's an easy way to keep up with what's new in modern fabrics.

Connecting Threads, Whittles Fabrics, Quilt In A Day, Missouri Star, Jordan Fabrics, Superior Threads, Thread Art, Embroidery Library, some other embroidery design company... probably a few I missed.

I have a stash that already exceeds my life expectancy, https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images...es/biggrin.png so I don't buy a lot from the newsletters, but I do look at new ideas for patterns, and I'm a sucker for new thread colors.

And sometimes, there is a fabric collection that I just can't resist, try as I might. Whittles and Connecting Threads probably get more response from me than anyone else - Whittles prices are outstanding and I LOVE 1800s and 1900s repros. Connecting Threads comes out with some very interesting lines, sometimes and the ones I love, I always regret not buying more of those.

As few as possible! Whenever I buy things on the spur of the moment, I usually regret my decision. I like to shop when I know I need a particular item. Bottom line: It's cheaper and I own less stuff.
