Where is it at in Dallas?

you will see me there. I'll be with 2 of my friends. Sorry, Alaskan Lady, I don't know where it is, someone else is driving. I'll try to find out though.

It's in Market Hall off of Stemmons (I-35) and Wycliff.

My Lady and I are driving up Saturday from the Piney Woods of East Texas.

I worked, (volunteered yesterday and today) and shopped. Had a great time. I did purchase a couple of new tools. One is for binding and the other is for sewing curves in a straight line. No, I can't explain how it works, its all in the presser foot. Tomorrow is the last day. There are some lovely quilts and some beautiful art quilts. Hope you get a chance to make the show.

I won't be going but you might see one of my fabric postcards there!

I belong to an online fabric postcard group and we were asked to make them for an exhibit at the Dallas Quilt Show. The gal in the group that put it together sent us identical pieces of fabric and one ribbon and told us to use as much or as little as we wanted but we had to use each one, and to create to our hearts desire....with the intention to show all the different creations that could be made using the same supplies.

The postcards were all wonderful. I bought a book a couple years ago to learn how to make them, but haven't tried it. Some are posted at one of the quilt shops. I looks like a lot of fun to make. I am just not very creative. I am more of a "show me a pattern" person!
I also purchased a computer program to design and print on fabric. I looked really easy during the demo, but I will need to read the manual. It is a lot like Photoshop and I thought I could just start and make labels. Ha! At least I was able to make what I wanted, just not quite as fancy. That will be later after I have played with it for a while. It really is a super program.

The postcards are really easy to do. No special talent needed. If you have fabric scraps and know how to sew / quilt, you can create anything, you just need a few supplies like fusing and Peltex.

Wow! Are they really mailable postcards? My favorites are the sun and the kitty. It would be fun to make cards like these for Christmas instead of the usual cards.
