Ok, I'm putting together a small quilt top. I'm pressing my pieces, and while I'm pressing, I remind myself in my head, in a deep "darth-vader" voice: "Always press to the dark side."
My 14-year old son, who has sneaked up behind me says very slowly, "Mom, are you alright?" Evidently, I don't just mentally remind myself... I say it as I'm doing it. Yikes, another "mom's going nuts" moment. |
Isn't it our job to keep our kids guessing about us LMBO

Guess he wondered what on earth was going on!

I talk to myself all the time. I teach myself that way.

I talk to myself too. It just keeps the kids guessing. It's good for them.

Yes, I talk to myself also, that way you are reminding yourself!

I talk to myself too. Hubby can hear me from two rooms away. I guess I am not very quiet.
