Been there - done that - forgot to put the darning foot down and got all those little knots, bumps etc. on the back of my FMQ! Read recent posts about the same thing and said "Learned my lesson - won't happen to me again!!!"

Famous last words - frustration hit again this morning. After ripping out twice the light finally came on! Check out your darning foot - yep -in the up position.

Yup - been there done that. When I do stuff like that - I know it is time to walk away and take a break!

I know how really frustrating it is, but glad you found the problem. I do that on my longarm as well (that makes even a bigger mess and a LOT quicker lol). Each time I vow that I am going to put a sign on the wall to remind me to put the foot down.

Yep, that happens. Time to take a break!

That's why I like my Vikings, the foot automatically lowers when I step on the pedal, no more forgetting.

Was it my post? lol. I haaaate when I repeatedly make the same mistake. It's usually a sign I'm too tired to focus properly and I need to back away from the machine!

I think we have all done that. After the second time I would step away for a while.
