I can no longer put it off. The fabric is cut.
I just cleared the sewing machine table down and got rid of all the accumulated budgie seed (table under budgies) I have found a tablecloth to put OVER the table when done.
I've found my needles and spare machine feet.
Time to stop procrastinating and STITCH my pine trees.

Anybody else ever get butterflies starting a new project???

All the time! I even have to take a really deep breath or two or three before I start cutting.

Have fun! Post pics when you get in going and then done. We love to see the progress!

I am knee deep in butterflies right now with the bargello I am attempting to make with the guidance of Barb Mo. Great instructions but way in over my head.....

All the time... should have seen my with the dresses for my sons wedding  I found every excuse under the sun  But they were done by 9 pm on Friday for a Saturday 1 pm wedding  LOL

I think you are so worried about it being perfect and once you start " IF " you mess up you feel disappointed . Been there done that

I don't get butterflies as such until I start quilting the quilt.

But when ever I start planing and cutting the fabric I am more worried about "Am I cutting this the right size?"

Whenever I have to sew on or use another persons work. I am afraid I will mess it up or they won't like what I do.

All the time, everytime. I think it's the adrenaline and excitement, the anticipation of completion.
