Have lots of lovely mail from people which came quite some time ago and would like to now delete it but when I click the delete button nothing happens.... the mail stays... could someone help me please?

Joy, you have to check the ones you want to delete. there's a button on the bottom that says check all, then hit delete, or if you want to keep some, check only the ones you want to get rid of

I sent a reply but don't know what has happened to it...at the bottom is "check all" and "uncheck all" plus delete.... have tried that on one of them and it is still there.... a bit of a mystery.

I also clicked on the message on the right and a "click" came up....then deleted it - but it didn't delete, so I did all the right things....
