Design for a Rag quilt

I have just two fabrics for the front of this quilt. Can you help me with a design?
my quilt will be 8X12 with the blocks being 6 1/2" finished.
Thank you for any help you can give me.

Alternating blocks, TATW, 9P, 4P and more .....

Sorry ... my crystal ball is in getting tuned up for Halloween, so I have no idea what the fabrics are, for anything more specific.

I'm sure many who follow will think the same ... and the suggestion will be, so show us pics of the fabrics.

i just made one with two fabrics and alternated the colors. it was just squares but looked great. perhaps you could make sqs but arrange the fabric squares going in rows diagonally across the quilt. that looks good too. look in photos here for rag quilt photos.
here is one someone just posted-it has more than two colors though but you can see what i mean.

A simple rag quilt really doesn't need a design as the frayed edges kinda take over everything....just go every other one or make like a diamond design from the middle out....
