I also used Warm and Natural on mine. It does need a lint roller occasionally.

I have two insulation boards 2" thick. I covered them with felt, using clear 2" packing tape for the edges, as if I were doing gift wrapping. Tape is on the back, but also along the edge that sits on the floor so they slide easily and stay clean. I still use pins to make sure pieces will stay in place. Because they're 2" thick, pins stay in well. Felt is white and was on sale at JoAnn's. I love my design boards and keep things I've done or that inspire me on it, besides using it for design.

Again, flannel backed vinyl tablecloths from the Dollar store. I've had it up there for years. I stuck them up with large thumbtacks.

I really don'thave a place to stash sheets of insulation board or the like. I have a suspended ceiling so I used metal plant hooks that clip to the metal framing structure. Then I took an old flannel sheet, put a rod pocket in one end and inserted a lenght of PVC pipe in that pocket. Attached 'cafe curtain hooks' to the top of the rod pocket. I can hang this sheet against the wall and pin to it. Then it can but taken down and rolled up for storage.

I found felt worked best for me. Plenty of movement when I wanted to play with placements and a steady hold for all things.

I used insulation board covered with batting for my design wall. I like the insulation board because sometimes I layer my fabrics on the wall, and with the insulation, I can use pins. I actually screwed the insulation into studs. Even though they’re really lightweight, they tended to pull away from wall when I used nails. I love my design wall!
