The adorable kitty's expression seems to indicate that this is a good temporary solution!

Like this or just tape or nail another piece of flannel to the top of the wall for a temp fix.

Didn't see your last comment! Anyway my design wall is very portable! I use pant/skirt hangers. You could do this also without the Styrofoam board. What you could do is put hook screws into the wall above your closet. On the top of each Styrofoam section make a sleeve. Wouldn't take much to glue a sleeve on the tops of the sections. Make it big enough to use curtain tension rods to slip through and just lay into the hook screws. If you need to get into your closet all you would have to do is take that section and fold over to the next. Get hook screws big enough to hold 2 tension rods. I don't use the Styrofoam. I like to be able to roll or fold my design wall.

I bought some gridded flannel to put on the wall going downstairs. didn't figure I'd have to use a ladder to put it up or use it! so back it went. I'm still without one !!!

When I use my design wall I just lean it up against the couch in the family room. If I put it upright against the wall I can't reach the top. I don't have a vacant wall without anything in front of it so it's hard to use it the way I want to use it.

Don't know how your design wall is hung or it's size,(most walls I have seen are not square), but if possible, can you detach it, and turn it so that the longer dimension is running up and down?
