Ok I have been trying to figure out how to design my own pattern for chapels I have been finding. Then I remembered this site at Marth Stewart (ugh).com and the conversion software that is there. http://www.marthastewart.com/glitter-painting
I want to show you what happens to a picture before and after and suddenly the design logistics are not nearly as overwhelming. I will post my pieces when I finish them. What it does is blurr out the details and leave the fine lines. Try it with a picture and see how much easier it is. I use this for watercolor painting which tends (at least for me) to be less fine detail and more color placement. |

you have to click the second download (wont show the pic for some reason just by opening this thread) to see how it changes the picture.

Wow! That is a real find. Thanks for sharing the site with us. Landscape/picture quilts are on my list, and this will really help.

Oh my goodness this is awesome. My husband & I took a trip from LA back to PA and I bought fabric all along the way (13 LOS's in 9 states in 16 days). My goal is to make a road trip quilt and include some landscape applique "snapshots". This program will help tremendously! Thank you and I can't wait to see your finished project!
