Try looking for surgical cap patterns. My friend has had chronic breast cancer for 23 years and is in the process of her ninth set of chemo. She has the worlds largest hat collection, and lots of them are chemo caps.

Love your friend through this. The best thing you can do for her is be in the room, talk when she wants to talk about whatever she wants to talk about. Sometimes it will be the cancer and sometimes anything but the cancer.

I am so sorry about your friend. I am working as fast as I can on a sofa sized throw for my niece, she starts chemo next week, and I want her to know I care, even though I live 500 miles away.

All I can find online is crochet or knitted. Can anyone help?
