I love how you all can look at a quilt and figure out how to do it! A bit above me! I love this quilt and maybe I could do it!

This is a quilt that I have been looking at for a while, but of course can't find right now. It is done this way, but if you look closely, it has 6 strips in the strata. :o) Ann

It's one of four layouts that Australian designer Chris Timmins teaches in her Designing with Strips workshop. You could contact her to see if there is a pattern available. (She's the 3 armed lady in the photo.)

And, yes, it's 6 strips according to the workshop description. I believe the pattern name is Take 6, but not positive.

It looks easy enough to do, sew strips together then cut into 60 degrees triangles and sew back together, probably would be easy enough to draft up on your own

Wow. You folks are the best! I'm going to give it a go this weekend and see what happens. I'll post pictures. It's hard for me to believe I will be able to line up the cuts made by a 60 degree ruler, but I must make this quilt for my son and his fiancée.

Great quilt. I love it but how did that lady on the right get a third arm? I want a third arm!!!

There is a gray haired lady behind her holding up that side of the quilt. Evidently she did not want to be in the picture from what I see. It is a really nice quilt. I think I too would want a pattern to follow.
