Dial n' Sew
My husband brought home a Dial n' Sew machine from his mom's house. I know nothing about this machine. His mother passed away in July, so I can't ask her about it. I plan to plug it in tonight. It is an all metal machine and is very heavy. Does anyone have one? I will have to post a picture of it tonight. Thanks.

Is it a Singer machine? I seem to remember I had one that I bought in the 70s, but I'll know definitively after you post a picture.

it is beautiful! i guess now i will be looking for one. i don't collect old machines. the this has such elegant lines. and old singers were such well made machines.

It's a pretty color.

It looks like one I bought in 1971. I loved it. I bought it at Sears, but I don't recall what it was...maybe a Kenmore? Did Kenmore make sewing machines? I lent it to a friend who figured since I had a new machine, she could just keep it. (This was in 1985.) I sure wish I had it back. It was just a workhorse.

Do a bit of research on the Tacony-made sewing machine.
