I havn't cleaned her yet but she does purr like a kitten. Yes, it is Silver Sneakers. I love it. I retired in Nov 2005 and started teaching in Feb 2006. They are all a great bunch of folks. |

I am going to sit down with her this weekend and start some cleaning on her. She does sew but needs a GOOD cleaning. And she doesn't look as bad as the picture shows. Been doing a lot of reading about FW. Found out that she was made in 1954. I did not get a manual with her and if anyone knows where this can be found, please let me know. Sheesh......I am so new to this FW stuff. I have my first machine that I bought in the late 60's and need to get that out and take a look at it. I think it is a Needlecraft. Never really thought about "collecting" old machines but I may have found a new hobby to go along with my quilting one. |

Great price, the best. You can find instructions for restoration on this board. In the meantime no household chemicals. This machine should end up looking and sewing outstanding. You will get hooked on the sound it makes when you sew.
