Grey fabric is very subtle and the brownish tinge to it helps pull the quilt together. Definitely NOT a mistake!

Lovely quilt and flowers in grey don't show unless you look close and then they are lovely too. You did great and colors are wonderful.

Nahhh it is just fine or actually perfect. It is tone on tone so I would not consider it floral anyways. I love the quilt. Nice job!
