Google Sharlene Jorgenson online...there is a website where her acrylic templates are available for different patterns. I bought her template set for the double wedding ring pattern a number of years ago to make a quilte for my daughter. It was a wonderful help! It is still available for $29.99, and it comes with a booklet.

My best Friend wants me to make her a wedding ring quilt for her. I will use this method when I do. I think I will go ahead and order the book. Want to get it done this year. Thanks for the link, and they have a youtube video also. Looks so easy, doesn't ?

Sincere thanks again to all who responded. I have a lot of possibilities to check out. Where else but a place like this Board can you ask a question and get replies from so many different places. Happy quilting to all of you!

Judy Martin has an interesting "almost wedding ring" quilt with no curves: it's called Monet Wedding Ring, and you can see a picture here: http://www.judymartin.com/gallery/wilber3.html

It's in one of her books, Scraps, and she did it in all kinds of colors (the colors of Monet's garden), not the green and light one pictured here. It is spectacular!

If you google the images for 'monet wedding ring,' you'll see many versions of it.

I found this on you tube. It is Cheryl Phillips showing Kaye Wood how to do the double wedding ring quilt that dakotamaid had posted. Hope this helps.

I called my wholesale supplier to ask about the status of this book and this is what I found out. Yes, it had gone out of print for a while, but has been reprinted due to the demand and popularity. The new supply will be available soon (around the end of February) probably. Had not carried this particular book on my website, but am always looking for items that have staying power in demand and popularity. So, will put some on order and will see how it goes!

I will put a note on this thread when they get to me.

Check Kaye Wood, Eleanor Burns and Shar Jorgensen websites. I know Shar Jorgensen used to sell the thick templates to make the pieces of the arcs, plus a template for an arc using just one fabric, which I think would be easier. I did a wall hanging years ago when I was first learning to quilt and I used the one fabric in the arc. I remember buying a set of the plastic templates, that also came with the instructions - however, when we moved, they had disappeared, probably when my son and husband were cleaning my sewing room in the basement. I got upset, but it didn't really do any good, as now I don't have the money to spend on the templates. Good luck with our double wedding ring quilt, would love to see what you do.

I had read somewhere that "the rings that bind" was going to be published again...I agree with others that Eleanor Burns Egg Money quilts has the easiest wedding ring out there...I would try that before but the other....

What about the patterns on www.quiltworx.com I know their double wedding ring quilts are not solid arcs, but the are very beautiful and come with all of the foundation pieces printed. They also sell some rulers that are designed specifically for the double wedding ring quilts and there is video tutorial about how to make it all work... I've seen a few websites that also sell fabric kits for these patterns.

Thank you so much for sharing this pattern. The double wedding ring has been on my bucket list for a few years. Now I don't have an excuse for puting it off!
